In a small village in Cameroon, Catherine’s kitchen was the heart of the home. The air was filled with the aroma of spices, laughter, and the warmth of family. Catherine had a gift for turning simple ingredients into delicious meals, and her children were always nearby, helping stir pots or watching her work. “Cooking isn’t just about food,” she would say. “It’s about love, patience, and bringing people together.” Her husband, John, supported her every step, mastering the grill outside and creating meals that brought neighbors and friends together. As kids, we didn’t see it. We were more interested in playing outside. But Catherine believed in us, knowing one day we’d understand her passion. Years later, living far from home, we missed the flavors and warmth of her kitchen. One evening, while reminiscing, we decided to honor our parents and their lessons. That’s how C&J named after Catherine and John was born. At C&J, we blend spices, grill with care, and treat every customer like family, just as our parents taught us. For us, it’s more than food it’s about sharing the love and tradition that started in our mom’s kitchen.
